Hi, Everyone and welcome to my site!
Well, December 21 came and went and the world didn’t end! I’m not surprised, even though Paul Skorich and I had a lot of fun writing about the possibility in our thriller, THE FINAL MAYAN PROPHECY. Best of all, the world doesn’t end in our book either, so we weren’t wrong. You can read it and find out why. The ebook is only 99 cents everywhere. And if you prefer a paperback copy, you can get that for only $9.99 on amazon.
12/26/12 As I said on 12/19, I was tagged by my friend Clare O’Donohue in the “The Next Big Thing Blog.” My answers to the questions can be found here. Watch for blogs by the two friends I’ve tagged, D.C. Brod and Teri Barnett. They blog on January 9.
12/19/12 Tagged! My friend Clare O’Donohue and I are playing tag in the “The Next Big Thing Blog.” She tagged me and so next week I’ll be blogging on some specific questions–watch for it, but in the meantime, check out Clare’s blog here, and read her books! She’s a terrific writer!
12/19/12 Added a new blog post: Why the world won’t end Friday… (click here to read it.)
12/18/12 Announced that we’ve lowered the ebook price everywhere to 99 cents!
12/5/12 Announced the 99 cent ebook sale! It’s only 16 days before the Mayan calendar runs out!! Now through Sunday, December 9 at midnight, you can use a coupon code and get The Final Mayan Prophecy for only 99 cents. Get it now before time runs out
9/12/12 I did another update on my appearances page. Suzanne Harding, Terence Faherty, and I will be doing a panel at the Indiana Authors Fair on Saturday, September 29, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. called MARKETING YOUR MYSTERY. Also, I’ll be appearing next month at the Magna cum Murder mystery convention in Muncie, Indiana.
7/16/12 I updated my appearances page today. I’ll be at the Bartholomew County Library in Columbus Indiana on Thursday, July 26, at 6:30 p.m., doing my current talk on the end of Mayan calendar and what that could mean. Plus, just 2 days later on Saturday, I’ll be on a panel about Writing Murder at the Barnes & Noble on 82nd Street in Indianapolis. Writing Murder is a soon-to-be-released book that I contributed to. With me on the panel will be Suzanne Harding, Phil Dunlap, and (possibly) Kit Ehrman, all of whom also contributed. That’s at 2 p.m. More information is on the Appearances page.
7/5/12 Hey! I won the Flash Fiction contest at Printers Row Literary Festival! Okay, so the news is a little late … anyway, in case you want to read it, I’ve posted it the story here. It’ a little more warped than my usual stuff, but I hope it makes you chuckle in a macabre sort of way.
6/21/12 We are now six months out from the end of the Mayan calendar! In recognition, I’m making a special offer. For two days only, June 21 and 22, my current thriller, THE FINAL MAYAN PROPHECY, will be free for e-readers. Here’s what you do: go to https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/115350, and enter this coupon code: UW35N. At smashwords you can download any version that you need, whether it’s for Kindle, Nook, Kobo, iPad, or others. But it’s only free if you download from smashwords, and only if you have the coupon code, and only for two days. So hustle. And spread the word to your friends!

A Little About Me:
My name is Tony Perona, and I’ve been a writer for as long as I can remember, but I first became a mystery author in December, 2002, when Five Star published my novel Second Advent, the first in the Nick Bertetto mystery series. My latest book is The Final Mayan Prophecy, a stand-alone thriller. You can learn about the series and more by clicking on the Novels & Books button.
Anyway, please look around the site, and if you want to contact me, please send me a comment.
