Blogs & Stuff

On this page you’ll find a variety of posts, which I’ll update from time to time.

In recipe blogs, you’ll find the recipes to foods either mentioned in my books or foods that I serve to my family. (I know–you’re looking at that photo on the right and thinking, “Would I trust a recipe from this man?”  But really, it’s just the website persona.  I’m a good guy … and a good cook!) Last entry: Italian Sausage & Peppers, 5/22/10

In articles, you’ll find columns I’ve written over the years on a number of different themes, but quite a few dealing with being a stay-at-home dad.

In what I’m reading, I’ll let you in on what book is on my nightstand and what I think of it.

In blogs, you get my version of the world at large.

Your Aunt Nancee gave me a copy of your newest book which I just finished reading. It is fantastic!!! (felt like a DaVinci Code novel) You must have a great knowledge base of the Mayan history or you did an enormous amount of research!! I truly enjoyed it. Keep up the good work and keep those books coming!!! I am buying more to give to my family members to enjoy.

    Tony,
Sherry and I really enjoyed meeting and talking with you at the printers row book fair a few weeks ago. So far I have completed your Mayan end times adventure and now half way through Saintly Remains. Both excellent reads – hard to put down! We are both looking forward to reading all your tales!!!

Perona…Perona…rings a bell. Something about CCD classes at St. Chris back in the 70s.

Hey! I’m jazzed to learn that you’re an author! Being a big fan of Cosmic Conspiracies, I’m gonna start with the Mayans (hoping to finish it before December 21st…I don’t have as much time/motivation to read as I’d like, though Kindle makes it easier…). Drop me a note, and we’ll catch up on the last 35 years or so, one para at a time…
    Peace,

  4. John Wiley 8.5.12 / 5pm

Hi, Tony. It’s John Wiley (from the dojo). It’s been a while since we’ve talked but I hope you remember me. Anyway, I’ve got a quick question about writing, if you don’t mind. I’d be grateful for a private email.

    Thanks,
    John Wiley

Hey Tony–It’s the gray-headed lady that comes to the Central Library seminars late and slams the door upon entry. Perhaps you remember me. Just finished reading Saintly Remains–every word–which I didn’t intend to do. I planned skipping over the “skinned cat” part (Ewwww!) and just couldn’t quit reading. I’m starting to get it. Which brings me to this comment–I have a question I didn’t ask at the seminars. Would appreciate an email chat, it possible. Thanks, for the story and your time.

Have your say
